Spanish Rice

2 tbsp vegetable oil
1 cup uncooked rice
1 onion, chopped
1/2 green bell pepper, chopped
2 cups water
1 cup tomatoes - cutted
2 tsp chili powder, or to taste
Salt to taste
Green chilly chopped
Heat oil in a deep pan on law heat. Saute rice, onion, and bell pepper until rice is browned and onions are tender.
Stir in water and tomatoes. Season with chili powder and salt. Cover the pan until rice is cooked and water is absorbed.
Serve hot with chilled fresh sweet curd.
